This collection of video works offers one of several possible introductions to the curator – an artist himself – He plays with movement and connections of thought through different approaches, different media, different genres, different origins.
Working as an artist is definitely not obvious to curate, but you see, meet, appreciate, connect, cross paths, befriend and just hear from other artists that evoke a reaction. Some claim that we are the specific human being that we are, because of being the addition of people we meet and situations we are in. I definitely agree, thus these are not the only artists I’d like to refer to.
This is not a Collective Video Bohai. This is a selection. This is one trial of several possible trials of assembling some upon those who inspired, motivated, linked to me, artist and curator: they interested me or just came to my mind spontaneously. By any means possible, this is my selection, even if it is all night wrong.
